People I haven’t met

There are things I do not want to forget. Sometimes these are seconds, a movement, or a blurred vision of someone.
I use photography as an extension of my memory and as a form of knowledge, but also as an attempt to reach out to others.

For over ten years, I've been photographing people I don’t know: people I see on the streets, on the bus, at the supermarket, at the airport, somewhere...people I may never see again. At the urge to capture a gesture, I photograph them, in order to create a memory from someone I don't know.
