Florencia Levy, Buenos Aires 1979.

My practiceis driven by long-term research that explores different forms of subjectivitiesin relation to history, intimacy, architecture and public space. My work is often supported by anthropological fieldwork andinterviews, focusing on thepolitical resonance of places and objects while exploring conflict and affect. My projects crosses mediumsranging from site-specific installations, film, and photography, tocollaborative projects, painting, and publications that engagein specific situations in relationto history and memory.

I'm interested in how artistic practices can directly affect public spheres, as my focus is on the possibility of sharing a space for critical reflection, contributing to a dialogue of exchange, because my main interest lies in building a personal universe of images as well as creating a world of ideas to serve as a bridge to others.
